Press Samples: Hey Beautiful Dolls 2015 is just right around the corner! I can not believe how fast this year has flown by! I am still in dis belief how quickly these years are coming and going. Prepping for a New Year's party is a battle with finding the right clothes, hair styles and of course makeup looks. We all want put our best foot forward for 2015! So I am bringing you along to share with you what will be my one of my New Year's festivities routine featuring Neutrogena's products.
Before applying any makeup I always wash and cleanse my skin to remove any makeup and add moisture to my skin.
The purifying cream cleanser is part of Neutrogena's naturals collection. The scent is amazing which reminds me of that amazing salon hair shampoo and products. The consistency and texture is a gel cream base *best way I can explain it!* The cleanser gives your skin a real moisturized deep cleanse without leaving your skin feeling tight and dry. Not only the performance is amazing this product is very universal for all skin types from combination skin to sensitive skin.
After I have washed and dry my skin I always prep the walls before I paint them lol. That means I always put primer on before my foundation and makeup :)
Both primers prolong the length of your foundation and minimize the appearance of your pores. Which is perfect for dancing the night away while the ball drops for 2015!
The healthy skin primer brightens your skin and adds a luminous glow from within while evening out your skin tone. This product contains Natural Soy which is proven tone correcting ingredient that helps even out your skin with or without makeup for 8hrs.
Shine control primer contains rice protein that acts like a sponge to absorb the excess oil from your skin. You do not have to blot or touch up with powder foundation within the 8 hours of applying this primer.
To ring in the New Year I wanted a foundation that will be bullet proof for the long night with family and friends
These shadowsticks are crease proof and long wearing! Which is perfect for my New Years party look. They glide on like melted butter, very easy to build up the color intensity and blend out with a blending brush. You can create a complete look using only these shadow sticks or you can use them as a base to your powdered eyeshadows.
To tie up an eye look you must add false eyelashes or a killer mascara that will add length and volume.
The healthy volume mascara will do the trick to separate, lengthen and add volume to my lashes for more of a "false lashes" look. When I first saw the mascara wand and bristles I was not impressed. It reminded me of mascaras
from 1920's era. Well you know that saying never judge a book by it's cover chili! I love love how this mascaras add depth to my lashes. Best thing about this mascara it reminds me of Benefit's Their Real mascara in wear, final look and performance. Doesn't clump or cause raccoon eyes.
Finding the right lip color for a look is another battle I am in the cross between 3 of the moisture smooth color sticks. So I need your help lol! In the comment section below let me know which one you think would be perfect for me.

Healthy skin liquid makeup foundation offers 8 hours of bullet proof wear and all that plus more. It is a full coverage foundation with a semi satin matte finish. Doesn't give you that cake face that we all run away from! I don't
want that especially on New Years with all the photos being taken. EEK! lol. Another major plus the foundation does not cling to your dry areas or slip off your oily spots making this an universal foundation perfect for all skin types.

These are twistable chubby sticks add moisture to your lips with a nice sheer wash of color to your lips for a natural look. They only last a couple of hours, and you do have to build up the color intensity for some but I do love that natural my lips but better lip color. They are non sticky and they just feel so good on your lips that makes you want to reapply and reapply lol.
That's it for my look! So after I get home from the party I have to cleanse my face right away because chili sleeping in makeup will clog your pores and cause a break out!
Before I wash my face with the purifying facial cleanse I remove my makeup with a makeup remover towelette from Neutrogena.
This makeup remover is literally the best makeup remover out there. All you need is one towelette to remove all your makeup even the tough waterproof ones. Sometimes with other brands I need 8 towelettes just to remove a waterproofed mascara! I love this and forever will be repurchasing these towelettes.
Next I cleanse my face with the purifying facial wash and after I towel dried my skin it's night moisturizer time!
I have been using the Rapid Wrinkle Repair moisturizer every night for a few weeks now. This moisturizer contains retinol that helps with anti aging properties.
Your skin's texture feels smooth and soft to the touch and brightens over time of using this product in your skin care routine. This is a great product to use for the winter because the moisture locks into your skin and creates a protective barrier from getting dry and chapped.
