Borghese is a luxury skincare and makeup brand, their products are widely known and vastly sold in a store near you. One of the widely known products is their Fango mud masks where they have different formulas to fit you skin type and can be used for face and body. If you suffer from acne prone skin and want to get rid of your facial acne and body acne these mud masks will help you get rid of them while adding nutrients into your skin.
Claims:
"This complexion-clearing formula purifies and illuminates. Naturally-sourced clay purges impurities and helps sequester sebum. Natural acids and polyphenol-rich plant extracts exfoliate, refine and minimize pores, to help clarify even blemish-prone skin. Algal Earth helps smooth and resurface. Antioxidants and skin-soothing botanicals provide for clear, radiant and beautifully balanced skin"
This product really lives up to it's name and the claims but the best part of it all is that it hits on all problematic skin features all in one product.
Let me break down how my skin has been for the past few weeks.
- Oily T-Zone
- Extreme Dry patches on the sides and inner corners of my nose, center chin area, tops of my cheeks, under eye.
- Enlarged Pores
- Blackheads on the nose area and upper cheek area
- Major breakouts all over my face
- When you touch my skin it's covered in tiny bumps and feels rough
- Dull and Un-even skin tone and lots of dark spots
- Body Acne
The Purificante masks works wonders on acne either as a spot treatment, full masks, and if you have body acne put this on those areas leave on for 15 minutes and your acne will be zapped away. Leaves your skins appearance looking brighter,cleaner, and your enlarged pores are minimized.Cuts down your skins natural oil reproduction and helps neutralizes the oil from disrupting your foundation for 3 -4 days after every treatment. Yes you will probably have to touch up 1x or 2x in a 9 hour wear of your foundation but it won't be as much of the oil seeping through how it would normally be.
Your skins texture feels smoother especially if your skins texture feels rough and bumpy like how mine has been and this will really nips that in the butt while being a mask that is suitable for all skin types.

If you have extreme sensitive and damaged skin then this would be your go to mask. Because even though the Purificante adds nutrients and helps illuminates those problematic features this one does the same but leans more in adding more soothing ingredients to nourish your skin from dehydration, causes your skin to feel more supple and smooth. This one has a nice cooling effect which I love! And this one can also be used on your face and body.

Derived from traditional Tuscan treatments, its deep-down purifying power purges and minimizes pores. It exfoliates and helps surface cell turnover, imparting clarity. Infused with Sweet Almond and Avocado Oils, this mud detoxifies and does away with dull skin, leaving skin radiant and refreshed."
Well I do have to say that everything that the claims state basically is what I am going to say it does everything. Works great on your body too so like the other masks your getting everything they claim and then some! I have implemented these in my skincare routine and I use the masks on a set schedule.
Purificante: I use this 2 times a week and I do use this particular mask as a spot treatment on my facial acne and body acne around 4 to 5 times a week depending if I have been breaking out a lot.
Delicato: I use this masks 1x a week and typically I strictly use this one on Sundays to revive the suppleness to my skin and add the ingredients/nutrients back to help settle down any irritations I might be experiencing.
Active Face and Body: I like to use this one every night before I cleanse,tone, moisturize, and add my facial serum.And sometimes I will use this on body acne 20 minutes before I shower.
Overall I am really impressed with all 3 masks they feel refreshing, feels great to see those results of the impurities being removed especially on my back acne, and just being able to control and help reduce those problematic features my skin has been having these few weeks.
