Beauty Spotlight New Too Faced Collection 2015

Hello beautiful dolls! I have some of Too Faced's new Spring and Summer 2015 collection reviews and swatches  featuring their Sugar Pop Palette and Natural Matte Palette. I believe these 2 eyeshadow palettes  are going to be a big hit at Sephora and Ulta.

Editor Press Samples: Hey beautiful dolls! I hope all of you are doing fabulous! I have 2 very exciting products to share with you all today that will be launching very soon from Too Faced. I know all of us go a little cray cray when Too Faced does new launches because co-founder and co-creator Jarred Blandino is always so creative and thinks outside  of the box to bring us dolls some new and exciting products to play in.

The Natural Matte and Sugar Pop Palettes are the 2 reviews and swatches I have for you today so grab your pens and shopping lists!
First up Sugar Pop Palette:

The packaging on this palette is so cute and fits the current trend of macaroons. There are a bunch of colorful macaroons all over their standard  tin palettes that Too Faced is very know for. Comes with a  nice sized mirror and their 3 looks 3 minutes look card. I find the mini tutorials that they provide in their palettes very useful  because I am still trying to improve my techniques and steer off from my usual light brown smokey eye looks. I do have to say this palette just reminds me of a bakery business card with the TF logo in the center lol. The packaging just sets the precedent of what the palette is going to look on the inside. Fun,Bright, Pastel colorful shades :)

In this palette you get 9 shadows from a mix of satin/shimmery and matte finishes. TF usually breaks these palettes into trios for Day,Classic, and Fashion. With this particular  palette they broke it down into Sweet and Spicy which constitutes as their "day look" Sugar Plums is their "classic look" and Candy Coated is their "fashion look". I do like how they went off their beated path with this palette and spruced up the names of their trios for the looks. All of the shadows except for 1 are all of a satin finish with tiny tiny flexes of glitter so if you do not like anything that's crazy glittery/shimmery you will enjoy this palette so don't let the "shimmery" claims from TF scare you away. There is only 1 matte finished shadow and that is Blackberry I wish there would have been 1 or 2 more mattes to fit TF's claims of a mix of shimmery and matte shadows. The shadows are named after candy and sweets which is super cute in my personal opinion.

All the shadows are silky smooth to the touch and blackberry for being a matte shadow is very creamy and not chalky. The majority of the shadows are very opaque, long wearing, easy to pack on the color and blend out. The only shadow that I was slightly disappointed in is Strawberry Ice it's a gorgeous lavender color in the pan but once placed onto your eye it translates into a sheer wash of color. So in order to get that gorgeous lavender color I have to wet the brush and pack, pack, and pack on the color to get the desired outcome.

Overall this palette gets 9/10 Snaps of Fierceness. The color combination for the whole palette just pops out at you, even though TF breaks it down into trios you can mix and match any of the shadows to create endless looks for any occasion. From wearable everyday looks and adding a pop of color, to fun vibrant eye looks and going out with your dolls downtown looks making this palette very universal for all color preferences.

The Natural Matte palette also comes in the traditional tin packaging with the 3 looks in 3 minutes product card.  In this palette the trios are broken down into Day,Classic, and Fashion. Side note I do have to mention that I love TF for their packaging making the shadows safe and secure especially when traveling. So if your a doll on the run you won't have to worry about flimsy packaging.

There is a great mix of warm and cool toned shadows throughout this palette. Now if you have read any of my posts in the past you would know I am not a huge fan of matte shadows. Due to the simple fact that they are dry, chalky and flat. In palettes like these all I can handle is 2-3 matte shadows and that's it. While this particular product is all matte the shadows perform like a dream. The texture and consistency of each and every shadow is super creamy and silky to the touch. If you were blind folded and you had to test out swatching different finishes you would not guess these shadows right. None of them are dry, chalky or flat looking on the eyes. They are pigmented, long wearing doesn't crease out on you. Easy to work with in packing on the color and especially when blending out. You know how sometimes when your working with 4 shadows for example and once you start blending they all blend into each other making the final out come a muddy single eyeshadow look well these don't , they transition into each other very nicely and you can point out and see the different colors in your finished look.

Just like the Sugar Pop palette this is another great universal palette with countless looks for any occasion.
