You can find liquid lipsticks any where from the drugstore beauty isles to highend brands in Sephora, Ulta and other prestigious makeup counters. Laura Mercier is staying on point with the current trends and have released their Paint Wash Liquid Lip Colours full review and swatches.

When you start to think about all of the products you have tried when it comes to a specific genre there are always specific traits and qualities of that product no matter if it's from the drugstore or highend you will always have those initial thoughts because at the end of the day they are all similar.
When you think of liquid lipsticks you automatically think

- Staining of the lips
- Drying on your lips during wear
- Drying of your lips after use
- Thinner Consistency
- Matte Finish
There are a couple of thoughts that will pop into your mind about liquid lipsticks that I have not mentioned above, but those are the ones that are at the fore front of my mind at the moment.
Well, as always Laura Mercier is always at the fore front on staying up to date with the trends while executing the delivery of the performance of each and every product. And the Paint Wash Liquid Lip Colour is amongst the trophies on Laura M's belt.
Packaging is sleek with a see through body where you see the color obvi lol , the handle is a gun metal silver. It has a flat doe foot applicator which makes it easy to go to town painting your lips lol.
The texture once applied to your lips feels thin and airy, opacity of both shades are on point. Now, here's the difference compared to all the other liquid lipsticks this is very moisturizing on the lips! You do not have to prep your lips with a lip balm prior to or after using this product. Shocker I know! A liquid lipstick moisturizing still mind boggles me but hey it's Laura Mercier what can we expect? Doesn't fan or feather out after a few hours of the normal talking,drinking and eating non greasy foods. It doesn't make your lips tight or uncomfortable, big thing to point out is if you have dry lips,cracked lips don't worry this will not accentuate those problematic lip problems. There are a total of 9 shades to choose from light to a deeper sultry lip, the shades that were sent to me a universal for all looks and occasions.
These picture swatches were taken 2 hours after my first initial application. I didn't want to do my regular arm swatch I had to show these bad boys in action. My lips are always dry in this cold wintery season and if I am going to wear a liquid lipstick I do double duty lip prepping. Well chilis no double duty here or even a lip balm before hand.
Well dolls as you can see the pigmentation and performance of this new lip collection are amazing 10's all across the board.
