Pur Minerals CC Foundation Review
PUR Minerals Air Perfection CC Cushion Foundation review from PUR Minerals Spring and Summer makeup collection.
Editor Press Samples: PUR Minerals offer products that are natural makeup that treats your skin while you wear it. They have a vast of new products being released for Spring 2015 makeup collection that can be found at Ulta or Kohl's near you. I have been testing out their Air Perfection CC Cushion Foundation for 2 weeks now.
At first I was going to go live with 1 week of testing but I really needed the 2 full weeks because to be honest with you dolls I had mixed emotions about this product.
The packaging is an all white compact with silver hinges which I happen to love looks cute on my vanity. It comes with a small round sponge where your stick your fingers in to blot & blend the product into your skin. This type of sponge applicator is one of those that gives your skin an airbrushed finish.
Once you open the compact there is a plastic lift that helps protect the product from drying out.
Once everything is all open the product inside is a foundation soaked sponge just like the Amore Pacific that is a holy grail to many dolls like Michelle Phan etc.
As I stated earlier I was having mixed emotions about this product but then I had to stop and reset the whole testing phase and take the product for what it's worth. This product is a CC cream foundation, and CC creams are color corrective products that evens out your skin tone for a light to med coverage. This product does even out my skin tone, and offers a light coverage for me and my skin. For others it could be built to medium coverage. So if I am not wanting to cake my face I have been using this product to give me that light coverage to hide my imperfections and even out my skin. If I want more coverage I use this product as a base to my foundation for a medium to full coverage. It does give your skin a slight airbrushed luminous glow from within so I do love that aspect of this product.
It does feel super light weight on your skin and dries after a minute when you blended the product out on to your skin surface. After a few hours you do have to blot and touch up the product in your t-zone area.
The sponge does do the job but I find it a little bit to small so I have to whip out a bigger sponge that's designed exactly like the one that PUR provided.
Overall I do give this product 7/10 snaps of fierceness
It evens out your skintone, adds a airbrushed luminous glow, and makes a great base to your foundation. If you want to wear something light that day then this would be a great product to throw into your foundation rotation.
Well dolls let me know if any of you are going to be picking up this product, if you already own it please let me know what your thoughts are in the comment section below.
Thanks Again for stopping by until next time xoxo-C
