It's that time of year where the weather is getting nicer and warmer, new clothes, and we start to minimize our makeup routines to get the fresh faced, bright eyes, and glowing skin. I have a couple products from Shiseido that will keep your beauty routine fresh and on point for this season.
Editor Press Samples: I always love when the seasons change because that means new makeup routines and new beauty products!!! I don't know about you chilis but I have been all about simple elegant looks, or no makeup makeup looks, especially with my eye makeup for my eye looks for work or running around doing errands all day.
I have 2 products that gets me looking FIERCE in 5. First up I have a gorgeous trio that I have been going gaga over for my simplistic fresh faced looks.
The trio comes in a sleek black compact with a nice sized mirror with 2 applicators which one of them is your standard sponge tip applicator and a small soft good quality blending brush. I know people always throw away the brushes but I highly suggest you keeping the brushes that are provided especially if you are a blogger you can provide good quality swatches with out getting the oils from your fingers on to the powder, and if your not a blogger the sponge applicators help you pack on a lot of product while your on the go which is good in my book! and the blending brush just helps diffuse the shadows and it doesn't hurt that the blending brush is soft, great quality and most importantly will not scratch your eyes out haha.
The colors in this trio compliment each other so well, you can use all 3 or just use 2 of the shades and your look will still look well put together. Each shadow are satin finish, the powders are finely milled, silky to the touch like 1000 count of Egyptian cotton. I don't know why but it feels buttery and creamy but the shadows are still powder. I can not explain it but they feel soooo good!! The shadows do not have any fall out if you are swatching with your finger or brush. They also transition into each other beautifully and not create the appearance of a muddied single eye shadow look. It does have the illuminating componnate that will open up your eyes and give you the appearance of well rested eyes even if you only slept a few hours.
One thing I am not a fan of is that there is no names for the shadows just a number for the palette.
Next up a very multi functioning product that really has been a staple in my Spring in to Summer makeup routine.
OH Chilis this is a fast holy grail for life product! Shimmering Cream Eye Color in OR313 is a gorgeous shade that is very rose gold,bronzeish! lol hard to explain this color but it's a very silky creamy mousse like texture. I can't really put my finger this texture either!!! It just glides on like butter. You can use this as a base to your powdered eyeshadows or you can use it alone, either way it looks great and will look great on all skin tones. If you have oily,dry, mature lids don't worry this will not slick off or cling to any problematic areas. Also don't expect this eye cream to crease or fade within a few hours it always lasts my full 9 hr work shift.
Another way I use this product is as a blush, adds the most gorgeous luminous glow to my complexion that I slay honey I slay!!! haha. If can use it as a blush over liquid and it will not disrupt powdered foundation.
